App development

You have an idea

How cool that you have an idea for software that can make your world a little better! From our experience we can say that an idea always has 1 of the following underlying needs:

  • An idea that results in cost savings.
  • An idea that realizes growth.

In some cases it is both possible. For now it is equally important that you have an idea of the underlying needs of your idea. Want to know more about your idea? Check our page about what makes a good idea:

Feasibility check

At this stage it is important to generate more clarity. You probably have questions about your idea. Is it complex to make? Does it already exist? How much wil the development cost?

Very logical questions where we can help you by means of a consultation. In this conversation we discuss the feasibility of the idea and whether there is already a product on the market that meets your needs and we provide you with general advice from our sector.

Based on the consultation, we provide a free advisory report in which we summarize how we would approach your situation, including:

  • Summary of the idea plus our interpretation
  • Estimate of feasibility and costs
  • Plan of action to take
  • Advice on comparable existing products (if relevant)
  • Reference to companies that we advise
  • On the basis of the advisory report, we estimate together whether we will proceed to the next phase.

From idea to prototype

The goal of this phase is to give the development team a better understanding of the idea so that we can define concrete plans. It is important that the developers understand the rationale behind it. This will allow us to better to make practical proposals that fit in well with what you want as a customer.

Once this is all clear and worked out according to the MoSCoW requirements / wishes, we will bring your idea to life by means of wireframes or a clickable prototype.

To properly organize this phase, we sometimes use a methodology called Design Thinking. Depending on your idea, we may advise you on this.

Development

When we have delivered a prototype and the MosCoW requirements M have been completed, it is time for the realization phase. We then write the code needed to make your idea succeed. It is no longer just theoretical but it becomes reality. The way we do this differs per client and assignment, if you want to know more about this check our Development page.

Delivery

Hooray! Your product is live. In this phase we ensure that everyone can start using the app by delivering a so-called 'production' version. How we do this depends on you as a customer. With us you can choose from the following options:

  • Take over the code from us and take care of the hosting yourself.
  • You can let us host the application for you.
  • In both cases you can expect a super service from us.

Looking to find out how much a brand + logo + website is?

Getting a price quote beforehand is tricky, because design is a creative process that is not linear. This is why we build milestones, and use estimations to see how much work each milestone is. That way you have great insight and control over the process and costs. An average trajectory for a project is between €2000- €5000, depending on requirements.
